Himanshu Pandey

Hi there

I’m Himanshu Pandey, a 3rd-year Data Science student at Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University, based in Durg, Chhattisgarh, India. I’m an aspiring cybersecurity professional with a strong interest in ethical hacking, network security, vulnerability assessment, and penetration testing.

My journey combines programming, problem-solving, and a growing understanding of cybersecurity. I have hands-on experience exploring security tools such as Kali Linux, Nmap, and Wireshark, while developing my skills in identifying potential vulnerabilities, analyzing network traffic, and understanding common security threats. Alongside cybersecurity, I work as a freelance frontend developer and UI/UX designer, which helps me understand how applications are built and how security can be considered throughout the development process.

Beyond technology, I’m passionate about storytelling and traveling. One of my stories, Ashen Covenant of Betrayal, is featured on the Pocket FM platform. I also collaborate part-time with a Japanese indie studio on an ongoing creative project, giving me experience working with international teams. I’m currently learning Japanese to deepen my understanding of the culture and strengthen cross-cultural communication.

I’m continuously learning, building practical projects, and exploring new challenges to grow as a cybersecurity professional. I’m particularly interested in opportunities involving security analysis, ethical hacking, and penetration testing where I can apply my skills, learn from experienced professionals, and contribute to building safer digital environments.
